m2 of plot space per unit, this compound is primed to offer the

maximum level of comfort and privacy for potential

homeowners.

Project scope/objective: The objective of this project is to design and execute 8, 4-story residential units.

Project delivery method (PDM): Turnkey

o A single organization that is responsible for performing design,

construction, and project financing.

▪ Project Start Date : 1st of November 2010 ▪ Project Start Date : 27th of July 2013 ▪ Total Project Duration : 1000 days = approx.. 2 years & 9 months

▪ Design/ construction interaction:

Separate Design is completed in full, before bidding and construction of the whole project starts. Separated design and construction has the lowest risk and easiest management.

▪ Contract type/ form: Combination: Competitive bidding & Negotiated cost+.

▪ Risk assessment: Due to the mixed nature of the contract, the risk level of the project is considered as 40% risk for the owner and 60% risk for the contractor. Creating an even and balanced working environment and encouraging shared levels of responsibility and productivity.
