Irvine, CA September 1998 to ‘Present’ Founder, Chief Strategic Officer, Acting CEO: Formed and incorporated Motorious Motors, a research & development LLC in 1997, and Motorious, Inc., a holding company in 1999. Provided seed funding of $1MM for Series A and raised Series B private round. Through SEMA: The Specialty Equipment Marketing Organization, an industry trade group, met with other companies in the industry (automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, parts suppliers, warehouse distributors, independent jobbers) regarding a plan to consolidate and roll-up distribution of the $30 billion U.S aftermarket for customizing automobiles, with a primary focus on the three tiers of the used car market.
