Employed to provide administrative support to the Manifolds department. I assist nine engineers and my main responsibilities include; purchasing; getting quotes, creating orders and building relationships with suppliers. Inputting and receipting invoices onto the system. Running weekly reports and monthly KPIs. Answering telephone calls as and when required within the department and assist in general office duties etc I also support other departments and carry out other duties as and when business requirements dictate as may be reasonably expected by line manager. Such as covering reception when necessary; answer the switchboard, greeting guests etcI am fully familiar and fully conversant with department and company policies, procedures and processes, ensuring all work and actions undertaken are in full compliance at all times

Learning these skills and taking on these responsibilities has allowed me to really improve practically and personally within the company and in my work life

Fiona Caroline Martin - Curriculum VitaeDuring June 2012 I participated in a voluntary work placement with Job Centre Plus in Ashington. My duties included producing a marketing campaign, writing news stories and press releases, contacting employers, data gathering, general admin and taking on tasks on behalf of my colleagues in order to hit deadlines. The role required that I had a strong ability in completing a range of administrative duties including the use of Microsoft Office.

Whilst studying at Sunderland University I participated in a number of work placements and voluntary projects including creating and edit ding a 50 page theatre magazine and acting as a Features Writer for Lifestyle North East Magazine.
