I had exposure in the following industries: Pharmaceutical wholesalers, Retail pharmacy, Medical scheme and Healthcare administrators, Restaurant and Guesthouse management, Market research. I have a passion for life and want to enjoy it by making others part of it, including my day at the office. Motivating others gives me great joy. I enjoy making people smile. Supporting people and helping them gives me great pleasure. Where my help or hand is required, I will fall in and help out literally everywhere, for I was trained how to multi skill myself, if the opportunity is available. Consultant Document Management: Key-Health Medical Scheme - Jan 2000 - End April 2001

Key responsibilities:

Completing projects strictly according turnaround times on a variety of tasks. Using software in order to keep documents for future retrieval. Batched, scanned, and indexed claims and correspondence, including new member application forms Responsible for filing, archiving and shredding of confidential documents and documents containing confidential

client information. Receive, open, sort, and date stamping of all incoming mail. Distribution of mail to appropriate groups Verify member numbers and providers practice numbers on claims and correspondence, according to (SOP). Print advices, labels, and documents Scanning of documents and allocating enquiry numbers to each claim or correspondence document. Done

electronically and forwarding documents to appropriate groups and centres by creating tickets with numbers. Indexing of correspondence on Med-Ware system after recipient took appropriate action. Pre-Scan, index and send all new member application forms (by use of ID nr) to New Business department. Using information on application forms, scanner, and grabber software application to ensure application forms

do not get lost. Scan, and index all new member application forms after it has been processed by New Business department.

Using Application forms, scanner and Grabber software application in order to have the new member’s records available on the database.

Quality checks and compares the printout of the remission register with the cheques and postal orders received. Receive returned mail and member packs and send it through to the support office to re-address. Compile and prepare new member packs using post office registration forms in order to send the new member

packs to the new member within the set turnaround time. Distribute all registered mail to relevant person in order to ensure that registered mail are signed for/received by

individuals whose names appear on envelope. Batch; scan all incoming claims according to the SOP using the scanner and Med-Scan scanning software. Capture all registered mail in the Registered mail register. Capture all monies received in the remission register. Receive/sort/distribute faxes received at fax number (012) 673 2800 using Ms-Outlook. log all enquiries for all faxes using Ms-Outlook and grabber software in order to ensure that a ticket is logged on

the specific Consultant's name and that the fax is available on Med-ware system. Quality check the quality of outgoing letters and membership cards by applying the scheme rules.

Record all outgoing mail using a log register in order to reconcile all postage money at month end. Qualities checking of batched claims in order to measure the quality of the consultants work and establish error

rate. Quality checking all indexed correspondence using Med-ware. Ensuring indexed documents is accompanying cover sheets to ensure that documents were indexed correctly and

images are of good quality. Quality checking of scanned claims/correspondence documentation using Med-scan/scanned documents to

ensure that good quality images are available on Med-ware/server.

Achievements: I increased my performance and productivity by applying all of my skills and abilities when needed. Successfully motivating other employees that resulted in increased productivity and performance of entire department by reflecting a positive attitude. Building good relationships with other employees and members within my own group. In this work environment I improved and developed skills and abilities by applying them with creative thinking.
