School of Pharmacology at University of Texas, Austin, TXResearch Assistant- August 2013-January 2014Under Dr. Duvauchelle, I assisted on a project that utilized ultrasonic vocalization elicited by rodents in order to gain insight into the emotional process over the course of an alcohol self-administration study. My responsibilities included animal care, data collection, and data entry.

Animal Behavioral Lab at Southwestern University in collaboration with St. Edward’s University, Georgetown, TXUndergraduate Research Assistant- August 2011-December 2011Under the direction of Dr. Russell Frohardt, and Dr. Fay Guaracci, I assisted on two experiments- one focused on sensitization to methamphetamine in female rodents and the other experiment examined the anti-adrogenic effects of the fungicide Vinclozlin in male rodents. My responsibilities included animal care,

scoring locomotor behaviors and paced-mating behaviors, collection of biological samples, completion of minor surgeries (ovarectomy), and data entry and analysis.
