Prototypical residential care units for
clients with moderate to severe learning
difficulties, and physical disability, who
previously lived in an institutional setting.
The building consists of three houses, with
separate entrances off a secure internal
‘street’, together with communal facilities,
which are grouped to the outer ‘public’ side
of the street. The street terminates in the
principal shared space. Individual houses are
identified through a combination of colour
and shape motifs.
