Descartes Japan Ocean™ Advance Filing Rules (Descartes Japan Ocean™ AFR) contributed by Jos Nuijten• Release schedule for June• Enhancements to the display and processing of the completion identifier will enable Forwarders to send the

completed identifier as a separate message (comparable to sending it at a Master Level)• Currently, if one of the Vessel Fields or the Port of Loading changes, Forwarders make a copy of the filing, change

the information, and then send in the copy in order for the change to be made. The enhancement will make it possible for forwarders to simply change the vessel fields and resubmit the House Bill

Descartes ACI Forwarder eManifest™ contributed by Jos Nuijten• Original mandatory filing date was January 1, 2015 and no new date has been provided• CBSA is postponing the July 1st go-live, but plan to give at least a 45-day prior notice to the industry before the

mandatory filing date• The solution is ready, however development work will continue to further enhance the solution

Descartes WebDGN™ contributed by Eric Geerts• Release 2.0 will be launched, by end of May 2014, to comply with the new system for dangerous goods in the Port

Descartes GCT on Customs tariff information has been developed• DSV Solutions, a customer using Customs4, was among the first users in the Netherlands to implement the new

AGS2 import system. They are sending over 95% of all their Dutch import declarations via AGS2
