1976:- Hindustan Computer Limited was born.

1977:-Distribution alliance with Toshiba for copier and notebook.

1978:-Hindustan successfully ships indigenously designed micro-computer at the same time as

apple setting the pace for the computer industry.

1983:-indigenously develops an RDBMS a networking OS client server architecture at the same

time as global IT industry.

3.1RESEARCH METHOLOGY :

Research Methodology1 is a way to solve the research problem systematically. It involves

the various steps to find out the solution of an identified problem. It also clarifies the

logic behind the study of the problem. When we talk about research methodology we not

only talk of the research method but also consider the logic behind the method we use in

the context of our research study and explain why we are using a particular method or

techniques and why we are not using other so the result are capable of being evaluated.

3.2OBJECTIVES OF PROJECT

The Main objective of customer perception towards HCL CDC is to know the future

prospective for HCL programme.

1) To study the awareness level of people regarding HCL CDC Programmed.

2) To study applicability of HCL programmed

3) Encourage the customers to use the product or service and make them brand loyal.

4) Counter a competitor’s promotional activities.

5) TO know about the future prospective for HCL Programmed

6) To improve the public image of the firm and the product.

The research was designed in such a way that the probable customers and the potential

buyers could be covered to get the accurate information and feedback from the

respondents.

3.4SCOPE   OF   STUDY

The scope is very wide .we should make good promotional efforts to create awareness

regarding the New Courses i.e. HCEA, HCE, HCE+ introduced by the company. As a

part of a big brand HCL, HCL CDC make efforts to provide good job opportunities in

HCL CDC .it help to know the future perception about the HCL CDC. The project

studies were conducted at Different IT institute of RANCHI. I was working in the

Marketing Department of HCL CDC. Schedule Visiting all the IT institutes and studying

about their opinion view regarding to company .this research help to make marketing

policy which make beneficial for company

Secondary: Magazines, Journals, Internet

5.1 FINDINGS

1. HCLCDC provide new course according to demand.

2. Prices of some of the coursers are match with that of the courses of competitors

but prices some of courses are priced higher. So price of some courses are to be

reduced to increase number of registrations.

3. It provide good environment to student.

4. Regular touch with mass is maintained in form of journals and publishing in daily

News papers and magazines. These will put an impact on consumers mind.

5. Promote its educational products under the brand name of HCL

6. It provide better training and placement

7. It give good offer.

8. It provide more practical knowledge.

6.1CONCLUSION

The analysis shows that people are aware of HCL and of the respondents are aware of

HCL CDC. It was amazing to note that respondents were eager to be IT professionals.

Furthermore 49% respondents were interested in joining the HCL CDC while 51% did

not want to join. It is clear that there is a brand image of HCL as around 49% people

wanted to join HCL CDC because of its brand name only

The analysis also shows that HCL CDC has emerged as No 1 in IT training with 49%

followed by NIIT with 20 %. The respondents who knew HCL would like to be trained

with CDC. Graduates are the front-runner in becoming the IT professionals.

7.1 SUGGESTIONS:

This research show HCL CDC have good brand image. Due to globalization, it should be

introduce new course and attract the more student for it education and give better

placement in leading companies. Being an industry it knows the requirements of the same

and can try to impart skill building training programs to the students accordingly. It

should make good promotional efforts to create awareness regarding the New Courses i.e

HCEA, HCE, HCE+ introduced by the company As a part of a big brand HCL , HCL

CDC should make efforts to provide good job opportunities in HCL itself . It should give

a more stress on practical knowledge HCL CDC should reduce the prices of the courses

so that it can attract more no of students
