IMPORTANT In order to use this facility, OLPC requires the customer’s email address in the personal details section of the application and your email address in the ‘Agent profile’ screen. 1 You will see the hand over option appear once you have 1 completed the Medical Consent and Doctors Details screen. 2 When you open the drop down box(es), instructions on how your client(s) can access their application will appear. It’s important to check that the details are correct here as your clients(s) will need to use these details to register for My Account to retrieve their application and answer the questions. 3 To handoff to a customer simply click the hand over to… button. Pressing the button will send an email to your client prompting them to register or login to My Account to progress their application. 1

CUSTOMER HANDOVER

This feature gives you the option, during the application process, to hand off the health and lifestyle questions to your clients to complete.

IMPORTANT In order to use this facility, OLPC requires the customer’s email address in the personal details section of the application and your email address in the ‘Agent profile’ screen.

1 You will see the hand over option appear once you have 1 completed the Medical Consent and Doctors Details screen.

2 When you open the drop down box(es), instructions on how your client(s) can access their application will appear.

4 When you select the handover option, the screen will temporarily show a message confirming that an email has been sent to your client.

5 If this screen is refreshed or accessed at a later time, it will show Application handed to customer.

6 Once you have handed off the Health and Lifestyle questions to your client(s), they will receive an email with instructions to follow so that they can complete those sections in the application.

Your clients will either need to register for, or login to My Account if they’re already registered as a Legal & General customer.

7 Once logged in to My Account, your client(s) will have a new message notification. They’ll need to access their mailbox to view the handover notification.

8 Your client(s) will need to click the go to your application button to access our online application screens and then follow the instructions to complete their health and lifestyle questions only.

9 When they have completed the questions, they will need to accept the declaration.

10 When all lives assured have completed the health and lifestyle handover, each client will see the thank you, what happens next screen and the application will be handed back to you.

11 You’ll get confirmation of this in AGENTHUB in your incomplete applications. Click they’ve handed back to view your list of handed back applications.

12 Click the relevant AN Reference and you’ll be able to continue progressing the application and submit it in the usual way.
