This is to inform that PSEB has recently expanded the capacity of its Guru Hargobind Thermal Plant at lehra Mohabat by adding 2 units of 250MW each The turnkey order for this expansion was placed on BHEl

The Coal and Ash Handling Plants of the above two new Units were Designed Engineered Supphed and Commissioned by BHEls Industrial Systems Group at Bangalore

BHEl-ISG has done this commendable work and PSEB has been able to generate power for the power deficit State

I can now confidently say that SHEl-ISG has a very good System Integration Capability and can meet the stringent project schedules set forth for Power Projects

For this prestigious Project under Cauvery Water Supply Scheme StagetV Phase-I BHElISG has carried out engineering supply installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical equlpments Including 24 Nos of 2400 cumtrhr Capacity Pumps 11 to 13 MW Capacity Motors equipment for 66 KV Sub-station contro ls instrumentation complete automation as

well as VHFUHF Telemetry Systems to cover three pumping stations located over a distance of 100 Kms for supplying 270 Million Litres of clear water per day to Bangalore

Performance guarantee tests of the sophisticated project has been successfully completed and we have for the time being entrusted the responsibility of carrying out OperationMaintenance of the pumping station~which is being done to our full satisfaction
