The first step is to share your dreamswith the Burger design team andengineering staff. An in-depth designbrief is utilized to help define yourvision in and document priorities foryour yacht. A personal visit to theBurger facilities is recommended to learn how your yacht will beconstructed and to witness the true value of Burger’s experience and craftsmanship.

At this stage, your dreams begin to take shape in the form of dramaticconceptual designs and renderings.Design plans for the exterior and interior of your exclusive yacht are presented for your direction or approval. Cost estimates are developed and reviewed with you before moving forward.

Conceptual designs and renderings include:� Hull designs� Exterior styling and interior floor plans� Interior elevation renderings� Engines, propulsion and electric

generation equipment selection� Special requirements including

recreational and/or shore tenders and storage options

� Navigation electronics andentertainment system descriptions

Reviewing and approving the finaldesign specifications is one of thelast steps before commissioning your yacht. Burger will prepare adetailed design and specificationbreakdown that provides descriptionsof each aspect of your yacht’sconstruction, from its developmentmilestones to your key points ofapproval. After reviewing andagreeing on the details, you approve the contract and your yacht is on the way to fruition.

Along with the Burger team, youand/or your Captain take yournew Burger yacht through varioussea trials. At-sea observations anddetailed walk-through inspectionsare conducted. At this stage, finalmodifications and refinements are made.

Over a five-year period, the Burger shipyard, located in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on the shores of Lake Michigan, has been completely remodeled to feature the most advanced facilities, woodworking tools, and aluminum and steel fabricating equipment available.

The Burger shipyard offers an eight-acre construction site that is capable of building and launching yachts up to 260 feet (80m) in length. Located offsite, just minutes from the shipyard, is Burger’s 50,000 square-foot joiner facility that is dedicated to crafting the exterior and interior wood components of each individual Burger yacht. Sales offices are located at Burger’s headquarters in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Monaco to serve clients from around the world.
