M1 TWO ADDITIONAL AIR TERMINAL UNITS WILL NEED TO BE ADDED TOSERVE THE TWO NEW CONFERENCE ROOMS WHICH ARE PART OF THEEXISTING AH-2, EACH UNIT WILL BE APPROXIMATELY 700CFM. AIRFLOWSERVING THE CORRIDOR SPACE WILL BE REDUCED TO 1070CFM AND THEASSOCIATED AIR TERMINAL UNIT WILL BE REDUCED IN SIZE TOACCOMMODATE THIS CHANGE. THE AIR TERMINAL UNIT SERVING THEOPEN LAB SPACE IN THE BASE DESIGN WILL BE RE-USED TO SERVE THEBEDROOM AND STORAGE AREA, THE ASSOCIATED AIRFLOW FOR THAT870CFM. ASSOCIATED DUCTWORKAND DUCTWORK ACCESSORIES WILL BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL ANDINCORPORATE THIS FAN INTO THE BUILDING HVAC SYSTEM. ADDITIONALAIR TERMINAL UNITS AND ASSOCIATED AIRFLOWS MAY REQUIREADDITIONAL BALANCING TO ACCOMMODATE THE ADDITION OF THERESTROOM.
AN ADDITIONAL 600 CFM AIR TERMINAL UNIT TO SERVE THE NEWSIMULATION LAB ADDED TO AH-4 WILL BE REQUIRED TO SERVE THISSPACE. AIRFLOW FROM THE STORAGE AREA AND TEAM STATION WILL BEMOVED TO ACCOMMODATE THIS ADDITIONAL LOAD. THE STORAGE AREAWILL BE REBALANCED TO 560CFM AND THE TEAM STATION WILL BEREBALANCED TO 580CFM, ASSOCIATED AIR TERMINAL UNITS MAYREQUIRE RESIZING. ASSOCIATED DUCTWORK AND HOT WATER PIPINGWILL BE REQUIRED TO SERVE THE NEW AIR TERMINAL UNIT. ADDITIONALSUPPLY DIFFUSERS AND RETURN GRILLES WILL BE REQUIRED IN THE SIMLAB TO DISTRIBUTE CONDITIONED AIR. REBALANCING OF EXISTINGTOILET EXHAUST FAN WILL BE REQUIRED AS EXISTING LOCKER ROOMAREA WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE SYSTEM. Install wall hung 10 lbs. ABC fire extinguisher within Storage Room and in theLiving/Kitchen area.Extend ¾” hot water and cold water from new mains into Home Health Apartmentand supply new bathtub, sink/lavatory and water closet. The ¾” and 1” hot waterpiping downstream will require to be upsized to accommodate the added fixtureload.
Extend hot water loop, cold water piping down to supply hand wash sink and 1”non-clinical vacuum and ¾” non-clinical air for Simulation 6 outlets.
