WIDRIGReagan Brynn
Reagan Brynn Widrig, 9 years old, of Christiansburg, finishedhis life here on earth and went to be with the Lord on June 1,2014. Reagan's parents are Chris and Cathy Widrig ofChristiansburg.
Reagan was the fourth born of five children. He was namedafter the "Great Communicator". Although he could not speakhe communicated in every way. He was pure love, so gentle andfull of joy when he played with his toys that had lights andmusic. Reagan was absolutely loved and adored by his foursiblings Jordan Widrig, Savannah Widrig, Tristian Widrig, andMicaiah Widrig. He will always be a part of them and they willnever forget all the memories that they shared. He will foreverbe our little President.
Reagan's maternal grandparents are Jerry and Etta Conley ofNarrows, Va.; paternal grandparents are Jerry and Tina Widrigof Panama City, Fla., and Jan Lafon of Blacksburg, Va. Theyshared many memories with Reagan that will never beforgotten. Reagan had a very special aunt, Lisa Conley Tyree ofNarrows, Va. She loved him without measure and would doanything for him that he needed. Another special aunt isClaudine Thompson of Morganton, N.C. Also, special uncle andaunt, Scott and Annette Widrig of Pembroke, Va. and uncle B.J.Lafon of Blacksburg, Va. A very special friend of Reagan's,Regina Smith of Newport, Va, has touched our lives in so manyways. She helped take care of Reagan on many occasions. Heloved her so much as she did him. There are so many greataunts, uncles, cousins and friends that were a big part of ourlives and Reagan's.
Reagan attended school at Belview Elementary where he wastouched by so many and taught so many. His team loved andcared for him and never gave up on him. Their encouragementand love helped him accomplish things that we never thoughthe would be able to do. Special thanks to Jean Cochran andThelma Harrison for taking such good care of him there. Reaganattended the Radford Church of Christ. He had so much loveand support from everyone there. He also had many loved onesfrom area congregations as well, west side Church of Christ,Salem, Va., Christiansburg, Pulaski and Pearisburg Church ofChrist. Reagan will never be forgotten.
