Athletic Fields (on right) Many of Curry’s 14 NCAA athletic teams compete on these fields, and you can always catch the fans cheering them on! Learning Commons (on right) Featuring the Collaboration Hub, Student Success Zone, and the state-of-the-art Science and Research Center, the newest addition to Curry’s campus provides an exciting collaborative space that supports all students. The Learning Commons is home to 24/7 rooms, advising & academic success offices, active learning classrooms, and science labs, as well as The Learning Commons Café (serving Starbucks® coffee products). Academic Quad (on right) featuring: Levin Library Provides high-quality resources in all formats, supported by collaborative partnerships with College faculty and staff members. Physical and virtual spaces make the library an engaging location on campus. Academic & Performance Center (AAPC) In addition to housing several classrooms, the AAPC is home to the Keith Auditorium, where Curry Theatre productions are held, and the Gregory T. Spagnoletti Room, where business students can trade on the New York Stock Exchange. WMLN Radio Station (WMLN-FM 91.5) WMLN is student-run with one faculty advisor. Students can host their own radio show starting their first year at Curry, and there are opportunities to work in six departments: music, promotions, news, sports, engineering, and production. 11 10 12 1 2 Hafer Academic Building In addition to having multiple classroom styles, Hafer is home to our Commuter Lounge and Hirsh Communication Center. Did you know that Curry was the first college on the east coast to have a 3D camera? 886 Residence Hall A traditional-style residence hall that houses sophomore students in double and single rooms, 886 is equipped with central air and heating for each individual student’s adjustment. The building is divided into nine pods with each pod having male and female restrooms, as well as a common area lounge with a TV, internet ports, and kitchen space. The main lobby lounge features a 50” TV, a kitchen with an oven and refrigerator, and plenty of gathering space. North Campus Residence Hall (8a), Lombard (8b), State (8c), Mayflower (8d) Where our first-year students are housed! Each residence hall has free laundry facilities, common study areas, WiFi access, and cable access. First- Year residence halls are co-ed, although the rooms themselves are not. Public Safety (on right) Public Safety Officers are on patrol 24/7 to ensure the safety of our campus community. Additionally, Curry College has 43 Blue Lights and 56 on-campus cameras. 10 Miller Field House (on left) This facility serves as a training and practice space for many of our Division III athletic teams. However, the entire student population can utilize the field house for intramurals, dances, and other large campus activities throughout the year. 11 President’s Office (on left) Kenneth K. Quigley Jr. is the 14th President of Curry College, having served in that role since 1996. President Quigley is a familiar face around campus and often stops to chat with students and other members of the Curry community. 12 Green, Brown, and Grey Houses These houses are ideal for students who desire a smaller residential atmosphere. They typically house sophomores, juniors, and seniors. 13 Wellness Center The Curry College Wellness Center is a conveniently located, all-in-one resource for students to connect and meet with staff members in Counseling, Health Services, and Wellness Education. SOUTH CAMPUS 14 Suites on South Campus A three floor, upper-class residence hall where the majority of suites consist of three double rooms, a bathroom and a common area shared by the six residents. Located on the first floor is a common space/ study lounge equipped with a 50” TV and a full kitchen. A laundry room is also located on the first floor. 15 South Campus Residence Hall (SCRH) A three-floor, upper-class residence hall, SCRH is comprised of double and single rooms in a suite style setting. Each suite is equipped with two single bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a common space. There is a large common space on the first floor and one quiet study lounge per floor for the students to use throughout the building, along with a laundry room on the first floor. 16 Gertrude M. Webb Learning Center The home of many resources for Program for Advancement of Learning (PAL) students, including an Assistive Technology Center, an accommodations testing center, an Educational Diagnostic Center, an open- access computer lab equipped with Macintosh and PCs, an open-access Learning Lounge, interactive projection displays, classrooms, conference rooms, and offices for PAL instructors. 17 Kennedy Academic Building – Nursing Simulation Labs The Kennedy Building houses classrooms and offices, along with teaching and open access computer labs equipped with both Macintosh and PCs. Three simulation labs prepare nursing students for a variety of clinical experiences, such as Intensive Care, Childbirth and Pediatric Care. Designed to resemble real world hospital settings, our state-of-the-art clinical labs provide valuable hands-on learning.
