As Director, I led my faculty through a complete redesign of the curriculum to update and improve courses in the program. The purpose of the revision was to prepare for accreditation by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). I designed or co-designed the following courses: Health Policy Analysis, Course Director Principles of Geographic Information Systems for Health, Guest Lecturer PhD Program in Public Policy, Nelson Mandela School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, Southern University and A&M College, Baton Rouge. As Director, I led my faculty through a complete redesign of the curriculum to update and improve courses in the program. The purpose of the revision was to map courses in our National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration (NASPAA) accredited MPA program into the PhD curriculum.
