institutions. Lab work involved extraction and methylation of fatty acids from phospholipid for
analysis using thin-layer and gas chromatography.

Collaborated with the Massachusetts area FSNE/EFNEP programs. Provide training to
their 65 nutrition educators on the health benefits of fish oils and safe consumption of fish
(October 2004).
Guest lecturer for the Hebron Schools in conjunction with the annual kids cooking
program. Provided play based instruction regarding the 5 A Day program and healthy eating
(March 2001, 2002).
Spoke to the student body and faculty at Ms. Porters School, topic: Nutrition, Body
Image and Eating Disorders. Also conducted a training course with the athletic coaches on
dealing with eating disordered students (January- March 2000).
