AL-Tahat is a university full professor of Industrial Engineering (IE) with the University of Jordan, where he teaches and conducts several research works in the area of industrial and manufacturing engineering. He received the Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc.) at 1990 in production and metallurgy engineering from the University of Technology in Iraq, the Master degree (M.Sc.) at 1993 in IE from the University of Jordan, and the Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) at 2003 in IE from the University of Bologna/ Italy. He worked with the Jordanian industry for more than 6 years as an industrial and manufacturing engineer. His articles have appeared in many international journals such as; American Journal of Operations Research, Int. J. of Manufacturing Technology Management, Int. J. of Risk Management, Int. J. of lean enterprise research, Int. J. of Integrated Supply Management, Int. J. of Intelligent Manufacturing, among others. He has taught many courses in the field of industrial engineering and manufacturing for both undergraduate and graduate programs such as; Operations research, Production planning and management, Logistics and Supply Chain management, Manufacturing Processes, Quality control, Engineering Statistics and others. Prof. AL-Tahat supervised more than 25 master dissertations, and more than 50 final year project. He worked - at the faculty of engineering and technology in the University of Jordan- as; the Dean assistant for student's affair during the academic year 2006/2007, chairman of the industrial engineering department for the academic years 2007/2008 and 2008/2009, and 2014/2015. 8. Brief biographical sketch:

Mohammad D. AL-Tahat is a university full professor of Industrial Engineering (IE) with

the University of Jordan, where he teaches and conducts several research works in the

area of industrial and manufacturing engineering. He received the Bachelor’s degree

(B.Sc.) at 1990 in production and metallurgy engineering from the University of

Technology in Iraq, the Master degree (M.Sc.) at 1993 in IE from the University of Jordan,

and the Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) at 2003 in IE from the University of Bologna/ Italy. He

worked with the Jordanian industry for more than 6 years as an industrial and

manufacturing engineer. His articles have appeared in many international journals such

as; American Journal of Operations Research, Int. J. of Manufacturing Technology

Management, Int. J. of Risk Management, Int. J. of lean enterprise research, Int. J. of

Integrated Supply Management, Int. J. of Intelligent Manufacturing, among others. He has

taught many courses in the field of industrial engineering and manufacturing for both

undergraduate and graduate programs such as; Operations research, Production

planning and management, Logistics and Supply Chain management, Manufacturing

Processes, Quality control, Engineering Statistics and others. Prof. AL-Tahat supervised

more than 25 master dissertations, and more than 50 final year project. He worked - at

the faculty of engineering and technology in the University of Jordan- as; the Dean

assistant for student's affair during the academic year 2006/2007, chairman of the

industrial engineering department for the academic years 2007/2008 and 2008/2009, and

2014/2015. He worked as a visiting associate professor of industrial engineering with the

University of Science and Technology (JUST) during a sabbatical leave for the academic

year 2009/2010, worked a visiting professor of industrial engineering with the University
