Summary:

Pao-Yu Oei currently works at the Technische Universität Berlin and is head of a group on the

transition from fossil fuels towards renewable energy sources. He is an expert for the analysis

of the effects of the decarbonization of the electricity sector focusing on the future for coal. He

has been involved in numerous projects on the German coal phase-out, worked for the German

Advisory Council on the Environment (SRU) and has been part of German Energy Policy
