Supervision Workshops: 2000 to 2012: 16 hour workshops (with workbook) designed to help train social workers

in Supervision for licensure (States the course has been offered are FL, AL, NJ, MO, MT, OH).

Crisis Intervention Training: 2000 to 2004: Crisis Intervention training provided to law enforcement officials to help

them receive certification in how to best handle "crisis responses." Received TEAM TRAINER AWARD 2002.

Hostage Negotiation and Crisis Intervention Training 2004: training provided for the hostage negotiation team

NATIONAL conference. Received Best Educational Trainer Award 2004.

Social Work Licensure Preparation Workshops: 1989 to Present: 16-hour workshops, providing training to over

17,000 social workers across the United States.

Communications Training and De-escalation: 2001 to 2002: 2 hour trainings provided to 911 Crisis Workers in

Orange County Law Enforcement to help them receive certification in how to best handle "crisis responses."

Senior Resource Alliance Trainings: 2002-2003 Provided community-based trainings to elderly individuals at 8

local congregate meal sites. Topics included psychopharmacology and individual health status.

written by this author are used to supplement course teachings. In 2016 received NASW Educator of the Year Award for

the local chapter and later for the State Florida State chapter.
