Experience

Head Coach – Cumbernauld Colts FC – October 2011-present. Planning, organizing and leading training sessions, co-ordinating teams and coaches, directing parents meetings. Experience with U7s-U11s, U13s, school and community taster sessions and disability section. Sports Coach – North Lanarkshire Leisure/NL Active Schools – January 2013-present. Delivering safe, enjoyable, fitness-promoting and child-centred sports sessions in schools, leisure centres, sports camps and events. Coach – Challenger Sports – July-August 2016. Selected to organise and deliver football camp sessions for the development of children of varying ages and abilities in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. Teacher Observation/Shadowing: St Michael’s Primary School, NLC, September-December 2015 Coatbridge High School PE Department, NLC October 2015-present. Student Coach – Active Stirling Coach Development Programme, 2013-2015 Attending workshops on presentations, coaching style, working with children with disabilities.
