Founding member of Kenya Urdu Centre, a society promoting the Urdu language in Kenya.

Study and writing Urdu poetry. Music

Involved in study, composition and presentation of semi-classical and contemporary music.

Released a cassette ‘Heritage and Melody’ of original Urdu and Kiswahili songs in 1998.

Involved in musical and theatrical shows, raising funds for charitable organizations. Had several solo and multiple artist public concerts.

Released a musical CD ‘Zubaan…Dharkanon ki’ ‘The Rhythm of love’ in 2006 for charity.
