Was Social Judge of the County Social Family and Children of Vila Nova de Gaia; He was president of the Board of Parish of Miranda do Douro between the years 2001 and 2005; For several years in the late 1990s, he worked as radio animator and also worked in the news

department. During two years (1997-1998) held a weekly radio show (live) on issues of youth, called "Generation X" in “Independent Radio” (Vila Real);

As a hobby, but also ensuring civic participation in issues of relevance to society, has, in recent years, assured presence on the Internet and social networks either by participating in blogs and with his personal page, either with updated profiles on different social networks .
