6. Completed a project (jointly with Professor James V. Zidek and Dr. Li Sun) on ”Mapping Philadelphia’s Hourly PM2.5 Field, 1992-93, at the University of British Columbia. In this project, we have developed a Bayesian multivariate generalized inverted Wishart model and used the model to analysis the data from Philadelphia, USA (June 2000).

7. Completed a project (jointly with Professor A. John Petkau) on “Air pollution and human health: A study based on emergency room visits data from Prince George, British Columbia”, at the statistical consulting and research laboratory (SCARL) of the University of British Columbia. Here we fitted a Poisson regression model for the emergency room visit data (December 2001).

8. For the STAT LAB project in the Department of Statistical and Actuarial Sciences at The University of Western Ontario, I was involved with analysis of data on metal ion from tree samples for a faculty member from the Department of Chemistry. The project was very successful and earned the STAT LAB award (June 1997).
