WORK EXPERIENCE He is the founder and leader of the Computational Laboratory for Hybrid/Organic Photovoltaics, www.clhyo.org. Full Professor of General Chemistry. Main tasks: research, project management and administration.

RESEARCH ACTIVITY He is an expert in the development and application of first principles computational methods to the simulation of the structural, electronic and optical properties of inorganic and hybrid materials and molecules and of the functional interfaces related to optoelectronic devices. His research interests are quite broad, spanning from the simulation of chemical reactivity in catalysis and biological systems, to the study of excited states in semiconductor nanostructures and optoelectronic devices. Most recent research is in the field of solar energy materials, with emphasis on water splitting, dye-sensitized and perovskite solar cells.
