OUTREACH ACTIVITIES 1. Led and organized a one-day event in which we hosted students from the South Carolina

Governor's School for Science and Math (Hartsville, SC) at CU-ICAR. The students were exposed to selected research activities and given some hands on experience in topics related to Materials, Manufacturing and Engines. The event took place on the 24th September 2016.

2. Contributed to two one-week summer camps at CU-ICAR in coordination with the "Clemson University Summer Scholars Program". The program hosted two groups of 18 high school students from around the country. The camps immersed the students into various hands-on research activities within Automotive Engineering. Work on preparations for the camps spanned between April-June 2016. The camps took place 25th - 29th July, 01st - 05th August 2016.

3. Led and co-organized three one-week summer camps at CU-ICAR in coordination with the "Clemson University Summer Scholars Program". The program hosted two groups of 18 male-only high school students, and one group of 11 girl-only high school students; the students came from around the country. The camps immersed the students into various hands-on research activities within Automotive Engineering, with focus on two themes: Advanced Manufacturing (Camp 1) and Sustainable Transportation (camps 2 & 3). Work on developing and preparing for camps spanned between October 2014 and August 2015. The three camps took place 13th - 17th July, 27th - 31st July and 03rd - 07th August 2015.

4. Led and co-organized a one-day event in which we hosted students from the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Math (Hartsville, SC) at CU-ICAR. The students were exposed to selected research activities and given some hands on experience in topics related to materials, manufacturing and batteries. The event took place on the 28th February 2015.

5. Participated in hosting the Green Charter School (Greenville, SC) at CU-ICAR to discuss potential partnership, 04th December 2014.
