University I am an active member on the University Recreation Services Oversight Committee since 1999. Neuroscience Program – Comprehensive Exam Committee (2006-2009) BioSciences Admissions Committee (2007- 2011) Profession I have served on at least 4 NIH review panels per year for at least the past 25 years. I also have been asked to review approximately 1-2 research proposals from the Department of Veterans’ Affairs eah year. I serve of the Scientific Advisory Panel for the National Organization for Hearing Research and review 5-6 proposals per year for that foundation. I have finished serving a 4-year term as a permanent member of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Review Committee for the NIH.

I have served as the Associate Editor for Speech Perception of the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America from August of 1999 till August of 2003 In three years, I have edited over 90 submissions. Prior to that I was Associate Editor for the Journal of Speech, Language and Hearing Research for 3 years. Associate Editor – Journal of Speech Language Hearing Research – 2007-2011.

I have also written promotion and tenure evaluation letters for 27 colleagues at other universities these past 15 years.
