My training period from 1/3/1990 till came to Saudi |Arabia on1/9/2004 was

In both Assiut University Hospitals & Ain Shams University Hospitals, and we have a

very well equipped and arranged phoniatric unit as regards place, instruments and

system.

I have experienced in assessment and management of all kind of phoniatric disorders

including the following:

- Assessment and plan of management of cases of language disorders

including delayed language development in children with various causes

and cases of dysphasia.

- Assessment and plan of management of cases with speech disorders like

stuttering, dysarthria, Nasality problems and misarticulation called

dyslalia.

- Assessment and management of laryngeal (voice) disorders using various

and recent methods and instruments including:

Indirect laryngoscopy

Indirect microlaryngoscopy

Vedeostoboscopy

Telescopic rigid fiber orolaryngoscopy with stroboscopy

Flexible nasofibrolaryngoscopy

Acoustic analysis

Aerodynamic analysis

- Assessment and management of swallowing disorders using various and

recent methods and instruments

- Phonosurgery:

Experience in microlaryngosurgery for laryngeal disorders including:

vocal fold polyps, vocal fold nodules, vocal fold cysts, Rienke’s oedema,

vocal fold dysplasia, medialization thyroplasty and early malignant

lesions.

- Sharing in cleft palate teamwork either in Assiut University hospitals or

Ain Shams University Hospitals.
