Read persuasive texts. Read: “I have a dream” by Martin Luther King Jr.Fill in a Venn Diagram to compare and contrast the video and the text.

Writing can be used to share ideas, entertain, or to encourage change. Good writers are always aware of the purpose of their writing as well as the audience who will read what they have written.
