    come at a very heavy price.

    CONCLUSION

    Thus the government of India realized the fact

    that foreign direct investment plays a very

    crucial role in boosting the country's economy

    by developing the infrastructure, generating

    new jobs, transfer of technology, and

    increasing productivity.
