Tampere3 What?

Tampere3 is a multidisciplinary, inspiring and internationally attractive university, which is built on a solid foundation of scientific and technological expertise. It provides students with a broad range of both theoretically and practically oriented studies.

Why?

We want to be pioneers in influencing the development of our society. The starting point is not to become more efficient or pool the existing resources. Instead, we will build an entirely new university to better meet the changing needs of our international environment. The new university will have a unique scientific profile. It will offer students more flexible study paths and ensure that students can easily progress from one degree level to another or to the working life.
