    CUPPING CLASS

    Cupping is the practice of obeserving the tastes and aromasof brewed coffee. It is considered as professional practice,

    but also can be done informally by anyone or by

    professionals known as cupper. A standard coffee cupping

    procedure involves deeply sniffing, slurping, and tasting the

    coffee. The coffee taster attempts to measure aspects of the

    coffee's taste, specifically the body, sweetness, acidity,

    flavor, aftertaste, etc.
