USC Outcomes Indicators Include sample actions a class could undertake with guidance from the teacher (grades1-3) or sample challenge and goal statements developed with guidance (Grades 4-5). For example, USC 1.3 – We will practice saying ‘hello’ and ‘thank you’ to the staff and students we work with at school and talk about ow well we were each able to choose to use helpful words to build relationships. USC 5.6- Our class challenge is to reduce/ eliminate bullying in our school community. For one week, we will do this by applying effective strategies to respond to bullying if we are the one being bullied or if we are the bystander. After one week, we will reflect on the impact of our actions and create a new plan if required.
