What is WHP Culture?
A set of deep-seated values and practices revalent in an organisation that guides the behaviour of its management and staff towards workplace safety and health.
Benefits of the Programme
• Generic model applicable to all industry;• Tuned to our local context;• Free usage of the model for assessment;• Drive employee engagement and social cohesion within an
organization;• Sharing of thoughts, ideas and best practices on WSH culture
perspectives;• Serve as role models and mentoring other companies in improving
WSH practices and behaviours;• Continual improvement on WSH culture with benchmarking against
other companies; and• Be part of the CultureSAFE community
Funding (WSH Culture Fund)
• To encourage the adoption of CultureSAFE by the industry, the WSH Culture Fund was established to help SMEs defray the associated costs of embarking on the CultureSAFE programme. SMEs can claim upto 90% of the associated cost, subject to a cap of $30,000 in two trenches as follow:
– Tranche 1: 2 months, Step 1 and 2, 90% funding cap at $5,000
– Tranche 2: 10 months, Step 3 to 5, 90% funding cap at $25,000
