Learning Outcomes

• I learned about the ancient civilization of Indonesia such as the Hobbitmen who existed long ago.

• Weapons like the keris and spears were used by warriors in the past.

• There were simple forms of entertainment like the shadow puppets and various forms of dances accompanied with music from traditional instruments.

• Besides that, there were various folklore and rituals in the past.

Objectives • To examine the similarities and differences between Eastern and Western civilizations.

Part I of Project Runway

The double crown

The Pharaoh outfit

Combination of Red Crown and White

Crown. Bottom part of the crown

represented Lower Egypt while the top

part represented Upper Egypt.

The royal apron was the main piece of

clothing in a pharaoh's ensemble.

Egyptian men wore robes of linen over

their kilt-like garments.

• The crown was handmade using red and yellow color boards.

• The outfit was sewed using a sewing machine.

• The crown and outfit were made with some references.

• The title Pharaoh was used by many rulers of the Ancient Egyptian dynasties.

• I discovered the outfits worn by the western and eastern civilizations were very different.

• I also learned to work well with my team members.

• I found out, there were many treasures and offerings in the tomb.

• The Egyptian civilization was similar to the other eastern and western civilization in this situation.

• The Pharaoh would be mummified and placed in a gold coffin in the tomb.
