The branch was very proud to have won Best Outdoor Trade Display at this year’s Albany Show. The event, held on 8 and 9 November, is a major event for the local area. The show was very popular again this year with around 20,000 people coming through the gates over the two days. AFGRI Albany branch manager Max Kerkmans said winning the award was a great achievement. “Receiving this award is a good recognition of the support we receive from the local area,” Max said. “It’s a great reward for the effort our staff have put into the site over the last couple of years.” Our site featured a range of both broadacre and small ag equipment with the main draw card being a new John Deere 9570RT tractor, receiving plenty of interest. The site also featured a John Deere tractor toy play area for the kids as well as other family fun activities, making the site a place for the whole family. Max, who transferred to Albany from AFGRI Dalwallinu in July of this year, said the branch was continuing to make strides in the local community. “Moving to Albany represented a good challenge for myself, moving from a branch in Dally predominantly focused on broadacre farming to a branch with a combination of large and small ag,” he said. “It’s been a good sea change for myself and my family and it’s been great getting to know the town, the customers and our team from the branch.” Max said he has a “great bunch” of staff in Albany who are up for the challenge of continuing to grow the branch in the community. “We have a lot of potential for growth in the Albany region and we look forward to an exciting 2019 ahead” he said. “As another year comes to a close, I would like to take the opportunity to thank our customers, suppliers and staff for an excellent 2018. It’s important to reflect on the contributions everyone has made to the successes AFGRI as a company have had throughout the year. Through our consolidation process, I am happy to report we are on track with our growth strategy in Western Australia. This year has seen a focus on internal training and development to ensure we can continue to provide our customers with a high level of service. We also recognise the importance of moving forward with the advancements in technology and providing solutions to our customers to best meet their needs. I would like to express my appreciation to our staff, both new and old, for their contribution and efforts to AFGRI Equipment – they have done a fantastic job this year. I would also like to thank our customers for their ongoing support. For most, it has been a good harvest so far and I congratulate all who have finished and those continuing to work into the festive period. I would like to use this opportunity to wish all our customers, suppliers and staff a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. I look forward to an exciting 2019!” AFGRI Operations Director Gollie Coetzee A message of thanks to our customers, suppliers and staff

Our AFGRI branches were very proud to show our support on National Agriculture Day this year. The day, held on 21 November, is a day to celebrate our farmers and say thank you for all the hard work they do each year. The initiative is run by the National Farmers’ Federation, a peak Australian organization that represents Australian agriculture. This year, AFGRI proudly showed our support by taking part in the green t-shirt challenge, where members of staff from our branches and head office wore a green t-shirt to work in support of our farmers. AFGRI marketing manager Jacques Coetzee said it was important to thank our farmers for what they do for the country. “Those outside of the ag industry may not realize how important agriculture is across the globe,” Jacques said. “Our farmers put in the hard work

AFGRI Boyup Brook had the pleasure of attending the Bridgetown Show and Bridgetown Blues Festival earlier this month. The Bridgetown Show, held 24 November, celebrated 130 years and again did not disappoint, having garnered a good turnout and fantastic weather on the day. Our site featured a new John Deere 4049M tractor in line with our special Christmas deal. As usual, the Bridgetown Blues Festival, held from 9 to 11 November was a popular event featuring a range of musicians, artists and other performances as well as sites from local community groups, organisations and businesses. Our site again featured a John Deere 4049M tractor, as well as a 1 Series tractor and GatorTM utility vehicle. AFGRI Boyup

AFGRI Equipment are proud to announce our Movember Challenge was another

great success this year. Movember is the hairiest month of the year where both men and women grow moustaches for the month of November to raise awareness of men’s health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer and men’s suicide. After another great year of moustaches, our team managed to raise a final total of $4051. With this our second year hosting a Movember team, we had a fantastic number of employees taking part in the challenge with notable mentions to AFGRI Esperance’s
