This study abroad takes place in various provinces throughout Nepal. We begin our trip in Kathmandu, exploring temples, monuments, and stupas. Once acclimatized, we spend two days rafting on the Trishuli River. We arrive in Pokhra where we do a guided city walk, and visit the World Peace Pagoda. From there we hike the famous Poon Hill Trek overlooking the spectacular Annapurana Mountain Range. When we return to Pokhra we partake in a yoga class, a mandala making workshop, and an interactive cooking class. We then head south to Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha, visiting more monuments and temples, and then head to Chitwan National Park, the first National Park in Nepal. We end our trip in Kathmandu, stopping along the way to complete the famous Nagarkot to Dhulikhel hike to enjoy views of Mount Everest.
