The Codorníu winery is located in Alt Penedès, a region brimming with tradition, beautiful landscapes and very rich gastronomy. In a beautiful sea of vineyards, we find the Cava Cathedral: a treasure of Modernist architecture, designed by the architect Puig i Cadafalch and declared artistic-historical heritage in 1976.

From this wonderful setting, we offer you a selection of gastronomic experiences focussed on the winery’s flavours and spaces: buffets, cocktail parties, banquets,

brunches, coffee breaks, tastings, carefully-prepared menus and pairings. We design each experience in line with each group’s needs and tastes, adapting

The magnificent atmosphere of Barcelona’s Boqueria Market is brought to Codorníu to offer attendees an unparalleled gastronomic experience: a menu

prepared with the market’s finest produce, a show-cooking kitchen where diners can see live how dishes are made and some of the iconic must-sees in the market, in addition to a special wine stall with some of Codorníu’s most

renowned cavas.

This gastronomic experience can be easily adapted to visitors’ needs and can held in several of Codorníu’s outdoor and indoor spaces, offering different menu

and decoration options.

Picnic

We invite attendees to try some of the most typical Catalan dishes: traditional cuisine, local and bursting with taste, accompanied by Codorníu’s finest cavas in an

original, relaxed environment.

During this gastronomic experience, diners will enjoy an open-air picnic, during which they can contemplate Codorníu’s Modernist architecture: a Modernist

treasure known as the Cava Cathedral. Upon arrival, visitors will receive a welcome pack with a hamper, a comfortable blanket, cutlery, glasses and an ice bucket with

cava for four people.

In Codorníu’s spaces, the home and “Cathedral” of cava, visitors will delve into the world of this well-known drink; an unrivalled experience which, from its crockery

to its dessert revolves around cava, its multiple possibilities and derivatives, with a menu designed especially for the occasion.

During the appetisers, attendees can have fun and learn more about the world of cava with the Aroma Game. This activity is led by a professional, who will guide

diners through an olfactory journey to awaken their senses and help them to appreciate this special cava-based menu even more.

Tapas menu

During this experience, visitors will take a gastronomic journey through the different regions of Spain and will enjoy tapas culture: small, varied dishes to

be eaten in an informal atmosphere. You will try someone of our country’s most typical flavours, such as Iberian ham, chistorra sausage from Navarre, seafood

salad or patatas bravas.

A selection of tapas will be made, especially chosen for the occasion and in line with diners’ tastes. The menu will be served in a decorated space and accompanied, of course, by sangria and a selection of Codorníu products.

Catalan buffet

Catalan cuisine is one of the most highly-renowned of our times, boasting chefs as important as Ferran Adrià and the Roca brothers, and has a long-standing tradition.

As the poet Josep Pla rightly said: “a country’s cuisine is its landscape placed in a pan”.

We invite attendees to join us for a delicious journey through Catalan gastronomy. The journey will begin with a welcome drink and will continue with a buffet

showcasing our cuisine’s most representative flavours, such as cold meats and traditional tomato bread. Diners will also enjoy a second course made with local ingredients and the classic Crème catalan dessert, all accompanied by a special

selection of wine and cava.

Barbecue and Calçotada Menu

For most of the year, our region’s pleasant climate lends itself to enjoying delicious food outdoors. During this gastronomic experience, attendees will sample a barbecue in Codorníu’s magnificent gardens, with a menu offering

typical appetisers from the region, different meats with garnishes cooked in front of diners, desserts and a selection of Codorníu bottles.

If preferred, a calçotada can also be held for visitors who prefer the vegetarian option, with the season’s best calçots (spring onions) and all the characteristics

of this open-air experience.

This experience adapts to the different seasons of the year, modifying the cuisine available depending on seasonal products. Attendees can, therefore, sample a different menu, adapted to each season, always seeking a perfect

Attendees will enjoy ham in an interactive experience, during which they can also cut and present this product for themselves. Diners will take part in a tasting session with different hams from across the Iberian peninsula, accompanied by typical products and with a special selection of Codorníu

Raventós D.O. red wines. In addition to tasting these delicious hams, you will have the chance to learn cutting techniques from a professional.

This activity is especially intended to be experienced in a pleasant, informal atmosphere, in one of Codorníu’s magnificent indoor or outdoor spaces.
