Do you know Mr. Enns? Mr. Enns is known for driving the #6 bus! Did you know he’s been a bus driver for one and a half years? That’s crazy! The reason he chose to be a bus driver is because it fills his day and he loves kids! His other job is the water guy! Did you know Mr. Enns owns Diamond Water Works? He delivers 5 liter jugs of water in his van all across Neepawa!

Mr. Enns spent his childhood in Arden. Today he is married and he has one girl and three boys. That’s a lot of kids! His favorite hobby is cross-country skiing! His favorite color is purple and he loves tacos! If he had the choice to have any superpower, he obviously would choose to read minds! Mr. Enns is a very nice man and is fun to be around! R e c i p e R o u n d U pSiri and Alyx

Have you ever wondered how to make beautiful, soft, silky playdoh? Well, you’re in luck, because we have the best playdoh recipe in town right now! Here are all the simple, cheap ingredients you will need: 2 C., all-purpose flower, 2 TBSP coconut oil – vegetable and baby oil will work too, ½ C. salt, 2 TBSP cream of tartar, 1 to 1 ½ C. boiling water and food colouring is optional. Here is the method: Mix the flour, salt, tartar and oil in a large mixing bowl. Add the boiling water and mix together. Stir continuously until it is a sticky mixture. Allow it to cool and take it out of the bowl and knead for a couple of minutes until all of the stickiness has gone. If it remains a little sticky then add a touch more flour. Voila! You’ve got the best playdoh in town. It should take about ten minutes to make and lasts about 6 months if you take care of it properly. To do this, you need to keep it in a plastic bag with no air and play with it often. Have fun making this crazy concoction! We hope you enjoy!

What do you know about the Philippines? The Philippines is a southeastern country located in the Western Pacific. The Philippine’s population is over 107 668 231 people! The Philippines is know for its many beautiful islands! The capital of the Philippines is Manila and the current President is RodigoDuterte. In the Philippine’s history there was a hero named Jose Rizal. He was a nationalist and a polymath. A polymath is a person who has lots of knowledge about many things. Sadly, he was executed by a Spanish colonial government for the crime of rebellion. Today, Jose Rizal’s statue can be found in Rizal Park in honor of him. There are many traditions in the Philippines. One of the traditions is that kids are taught to respect their elders. They are taught to say ‘opo’ and ‘po’ to show their grandparents and older people respect. They also have a greeting to show honor to their grandparents called “mano” where you take the hand of an elderly person and place it on your forehead as if you are receiving their blessing. The Philippines is a very wonderful country with their diverse culture and their history!
