A INTRODUCTION

Thank you for choosing the CTM3000 series product from Gainwise. This innovative product let you

replace the call forwarding service of PSTN. It can connect the incoming call from PSTN line then

establish the call from GSM network. Or it can connect the incoming call from GSM network then

establish the call from PSTN line. CTM3000 is a bi-direction divert product.

D INSTALLATION(see diagram below)

D.1 SIM Card Installation(figure 1)

D.1.1 Remove the 15VDC switching adapter

D.1.2 Gently insert the mini-SIM card in the SIM card holder of bottom of CTM3000.

D.1.3 Make sure the SIM card is put exactly

D.1.4 Connect the bottom cover.

D.2 Connect the antenna to the SMA antenna connector on the back of CTM3000.

D.3 Connect The Power and Plug In Your Telephone Equipment(figure 2 and 3)

D.3.1 Connect the LINE port of CTM3000 with wall jack of PSTN or the analog line of PBX.

D.3.2 Connect one end of phone cord to the land phone and the other end to the PHONE port

of the CTM3000.

D.3.3 Connect the switching adapter to the DC jack of CTM3000 and AC power.

D.3.4 All steps are finished the MO green LED and CO yellow LED turn on.

F HOW TO WORK

F.1 In Appointed A1 Mode

F.1.1 CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of PSTN and provide an A tone 1 second.

F.1.2 It will call via the pre-appointed number from GSM after a delay time (3 sec) when an

A tone finished.

F.1.3 It will break all incoming calls of GSM and make call via pre-appointed number from

GSM when it answer the incoming call of PSTN.

F.1.4 If you dial Random Mode Password (*6789) during the 3 seconds delay time,

CTM3000 will emit another tone (B tone) 1 second to enter Random Mode. Then you

can call any number from GSM.

F.1.5 If you dial Program Mode Password (*1234) during the 3 seconds delay time,

CTM3000 will emit a C tone 2 seconds to enter Program Mode.

F.2 In Appointed A2 Mode

F.2.1 CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of GSM and provide an A tone 1 second.

F.2.2 It will call via the pre-appointed number from PSTN after a delay time (3 sec) when an

A tone finished.

F.2.3 It will break all incoming calls of PSTN and make call via pre-appointed number from

PSTN when it answer the incoming call of GSM.

F.2.4 If you dial Random Mode Password (*6789) during the 3 seconds delay time,

CTM3000 will emit another tone (B tone) 1 second to enter Random Mode. Then you

can call any number from PSTN.

F.2.5 If you dial Program Mode Password (*1234) during the 3 seconds delay time,

CTM3000 will emit a C tone 2 seconds to enter Program Mode.

F.3 In Appointed B1 Mode

F.3.1 CTM3000 will not answer the incoming call of PSTN when it detect the incoming call of

PSTN but make call via the pre-appointed number from GSM.

F.3.1.1 B1-1 Mode (972#)

CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of PSTN to connect PSTN incoming

with GSM outgoing when it detects the ring back tone of GSM outgoing

call.

F.3.1.2 B1-2 Mode (973#)

CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of PSTN to connect PSTN incoming

with GSM outgoing when the called party answer the GSM outgoing call.

F.4 In Appointed B2 Mode

F.4.1 CTM3000 will not answer the incoming call of GSM but make call via the pre-appointed

number from PSTN when it detect the incoming call of GSM.

F.4.1.1 B2-1 Mode (962#)

CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of GSM to connect GSM incoming

with PSTN outgoing when it detects the ring back tone of PSTN

outgoing call.

F.4.1.2 B2-2 Mode

CTM3000 will answer the incoming call of GSM to connect GSM incoming

with PSTN outgoing when the called party answer the PSTN outgoing

call.

F.5 In Random Mode

F.5.1 The call is from PSTN incoming to GSM outgoing. (974#)

F.5.1.1 CTM3000 will answer the incoming call from PSTN and provide a B tone 1

second.

F.5.1.2 The user enters the diverting number in 20 seconds.

F.5.1.3 It will send the diverting number from GSM.

F.5.2 The call is from GSM incoming to PSTN outgoing. (964#)

F.5.2.1 CTM3000 will answer the incoming call from GSM and provide a B tone 1

second.

F.5.2.2 The user enters the diverting number in 20 seconds.

F.5.2.3 It will send the diverting number from PSTN.

G PROGRAM MODE

G.1 Telephone Setting

G.1.1 Pick up the handset of telephone then you will hear dial tone.

G.1.2 Press the access password (*1234) in 6 seconds.

G.1.3 If the password is correct you will hear a C tone 2 second. We call it setup tone. Then

you can enter the function code in 6 seconds. If there is no any key in 6 seconds

CTM3000 will exit the program mode.

G.1.4 If the password is incorrect you will hear reorder tone of PSTN.

G.2 Call Setting

G.2.1 Please make a call to CTM3000 (PSTN or GSM) in Appointed A mode or Random Mode.

G.2.2 CTM3000 will answer the incoming call and provide an answer tone (A or B).

G.2.3 Press the access password (*1234) to enter the programming mode.

G.2.4 When the password is correct, CTM3000 provide a C tone 2 seconds. We call it setup

tone. Then you can enter the function code in 6 seconds. If there is no any key in 6

seconds CTM3000 will exit the program mode.

G.2.5 When the password is wrong, CTM3000 will break the call in appointed A mode or

divert the call via the wrong password in random mode.

G.3 In program mode you can press the function code to program the function you want.

G.3.1 If the program is successful, CTM3000 provide a D tone 1 second. You can program

the other function.

G.3.2 If the program is fail, CTM3000 provide three D tones (0.5sec on / 0.5 off). You can

program the function again or program others function.

G.3.3 If you do not enter any key in 6 seconds, CTM3000 will escape the program mode.

G.3.4 You can hang up the call to finish the program.

G.4 SMS Setting

G.4.1 You can send the SMS which type is Text by your cellular phone.

H.1 Password

H.1.1 Program password

Press 【0XXXX＃】to set program password. It is only 4 digits.

H.1.2 Random password

Press 【1XXXX＃】to set random password. It is only 4 digits.

H.2 Mode

H.2.1 Appointed mode

Press 【971＃】to choose the appointed A mode for the PSTN incoming.

H.2.2 Random mode

Press 【964＃】to choose the random mode for the GSM incoming.

H.3 Appointed Number

H.3.1 Direction option

Press 【991＃】to choose one direction which is from PSTN incoming to GSM outgoing.

Press 【992＃】to choose bi-direction. One is from PSTN incoming to GSM outgoing and

the other is from GSM incoming to PSTN incoming.

H.3.2 Appointed diverting number from PSTN incoming to GSM outgoing. (PTG number)

Press 【2X••X＃】to set pre-appointed number. The X••X is 29 digits maximum.

H.3.3 Appointed diverting number from GSM incoming to PSTN outgoing. (GTP number)

Press 【3X••X＃】to set pre-appointed number. The X••X is 29 digits maximum.

H.3.4 Delay time between two digits of appointed number

Press 【993＃】to enable the delay time between two digits. One ＊ is 250ms.

Press 【994＃】to disable the delay time between two digits.

H.4 Delay time of forwarding

Press 【4XX＃】to set the delay time of forwarding. XX is 01~99. The unit is 500ms.

H.5 Set the ring times

Press 【5XX＃】to set the ring times of answering the incoming. XX is 01~99. The unit is times.

H.6 Busy tone learning

H.6.1 Press 【983＃】to set the busy tone frequency as 620Hz.

H.6.2 Press 【984＃】to set the busy tone frequency as 400Hz.

H.6.3 Press 【985＃】to reset the busy tone frequency as default (480Hz+620Hz).

The above 3 function codes work in the hardware including 982 IC.

H.6.4 Press 【990＃】to enter the busy tone learning mode.

Please enter 990# then hang up the phone about 30 seconds when you hear the D

tone. CTM3000 will emit CO yellow LED 3 times if busy tone learning is successful.

H.7 Others

H.7.1 Press 【981＃】to enable call forwarding.

H.7.2 Press 【982＃】to disable call forwarding.
