Example for using the CTM explanation tool

In the screen shot above the explanation tools shows 1 unfulfilled demand. We can see the location,

the material and the demand quantity (=1). The demand quantity fulfilled in timley is 0, dealayed the

same.

If we double click the demand in the left screen and double click the first line in the right upper

screen we see the stratagy (standard procedure) used in the CTM run in third screen (left lower).

As we further can see in the above right screen there exist 4 sources of supply with which the CTM

engine have been tried to fulfill the demand. The first 2 for fulfilling the demand timely and the last 2

for fulfilling the demand lateley.

If the frist stock withdrawal is double clicked the right lower screen shows the explanation why the

stock could not been used to fulfill the demand. It can be seen that no stock is available.

If we doubleclick the second SOS (production icon) which has been tried, we see that the executation

of an PDS/PPM also was not possible.
