LET Results 2013 November 28, 2013 College of Teacher Education CTE grads score high in LET Edna C. Nagtalon and Ronald Candy S. Lasaten CTE graduates who for the first time took the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) given last September 29, 2013 in Laoag City scored high as evidenced by their overall mean ratings of 82.63% and 82.98% for the BEEd and BSEd, respectively. Out of the 190 BEEd LET takers, 157 passed, while 33 failed. Among the BSEd takers, 117 passed while 24 failed. The test covered General and Professional Education for the BEEd and General, Professional Education and major subjects for the BSEd. CTE’s overall performance this year which includes the ratings obtained by the repeaters are 74.65% and 71.08% for the BEEd and BSEd, respectively. A total of 128, 083 examinees took the test of which 19, 384 (31.18%) elementary teachers out of 62, 160 examinees and 25, 755 (39.75%) secondary teachers out of 64, 792 successfully passed the LET given by the Professional Regulation Commission and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) in 17 testing centers nationwide. Testing centers were Baguio City, Batanes, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Laoag City, Legazpi, Lucena, Masbate, National Capital Region (NCR), Pagadian, Palawan, Romblon, Rosales Pangasinan, Tacloban and Tuguegarao. Registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Recognition will start on December 6, 2013. #
