Lessons learned from past collaborative projects from WFOs

More regular comments/updates/exchanges between PIs and WFOs is needed – quarterly meetings at NCSU was mentioned in the proposal.

Several offices mentioned that without updates, an out of sight/out of mind scenario set up.

Identify ways that WFO’s can contribute for each project, they want to help, just need to be given instruction and opportunity.

Lessons learned from past collaborative projects from WFOs

A timeline highlighting the goals and expectations for each of the projects would be helpful

Recruit collaborative investigators at the WFOs to provide regular input and support – long list of interested people has been generated.
