    The Charity

    Childreach International is an

    international developmentcharity that works to

    unlock a childs potential

    worldwide.

We work in partnerships with local

    communities in the developing

    world to improve childrens access

    to healthcare, education, child

    rights and protection.

Since our launch in 2004, we haveexperienced rapid and

organic growth. In just six years we

    have established project offices in

Tanzania, India and Nepal andfundraising offices in the Canadaand the US.

We also fund projects in OccupiedPalestinian Territories andBangladesh, and are planning tosupport projects in Peru, Cambodiaand Chinain 2011.

To date, we have reached more

    than 70,000 children.

As an organisation we are majority

    funded by volunteer fundraising,

and attribute a large part of our

    success to the dedication and

    determination of thousands ofsupporters worldwide.

We believe that if an individual

    chooses to donate their time,

energy and enthusiasm to ourcause, then we should give them

    something truly valuable and

    rewarding in return.

Our active and inclusivefundraising experiences offer

    every individual the opportunity to

learn about global citizenship at a

grassroots level, and becomestakeholders in our projects

    worldwide.

    Our Projects

    Childreach International takes

great pride in the accessibility of

our international projects and theway in which we communicate this

    to our supporters.

We break down our projects into

easy to understand real life stories

so you can personally connect with

    our key themes.

    Below are four examples, each

    demonstrating either health,

    education, child rights and

    protection.

If you would like more information

    about our projects, please contact

    Kate Wolfenden or Richard Snook

(contact details at the back of this

pack). They will be happy to

    deliver you a personally presented

    overviewof our projects or supply

    you with an annual review.

Primary Education. We rebuild and renovateschools, build classrooms, playgrounds andprovide hygienic facilities, sustainableresources, water harvesting systems andenergy efficient stoves, to providechildren with a better quality of education ina clean and safe learning environment.

In India, we work with our partner

Shaishav to run a truly unique initiative thatpromotes child rights through the use of achildrens union. The union gives children a

platform to understand and advocate fortheir human rights and protect themselvesand other children in the area.

In some rural areas of Nepal there are as

many as 18,000 people to one doctor. In partnership with the community runDhulikhel Hospital (pictured above), wedeliver 12 rural Outreach Health Centres toensure that even the most rural and remotecommunities receive basic essential healthcare and education.

Protection: Bangladesh ( BISAP) The Bangladesh Integrated SocialAdvancement Programme is a community-

    CSR: Partnerships

If you give, we give back

Our Corporate Partnerships divisionwas born out of a decade of senior

    level commercial experience. This

invaluable insight has allowed us to

    experiment boldly and intelligently

with the boundaries of where a

    charity partnership can go.

Thanks to this, we have definedand shaped Childreach

    Internationals Corporate Social

    Responsibility agenda into the

    award-winning programme it is

    today.

    We call this

    CSR:

CSR: Partnerships is more than justentering into a donor-meets-

beneficiary arrangement. To us, it is

about developing a mutuallybeneficial and progressive

relationship - an opportunity forour charity to say thank you, in realterms, for your contributions.

We do this by first taking time to

get to know you. At Childreach

    International, we seek to

    understand the key needs and

    objectives of your organisation and

    aim to offer a tailor-made

    partnership to achieve your CSR

    goals.

    Using key Corporate Responsibility

    themes we develop meaningful

    partnerships that can improve your

    employee development and

retention, engage you with thelocal community, generate positive

PR for your organisation and even

    save you money.

The result: A portfolio offundraising initiatives that directly

    benefit you.

    Futurebuilding

    To date, Futurebuilding has been

    our leading corporate initiative

and a consistent favourite amongstpartners. In fact, in 2010 it was

    recognised as the

    Best Overseas Project by the

Charity Business Awards inpartnership with Eaga Plc. But whatis it exactly?

    Futurebuilding is an international

volunteering experience, whereparticipants form a team, travel

    overseas, live in the local

community and work on one of our

    projects.

How? By fundraising in the UK,

    learning about grassroots

development and travellingoverseas to a project site to

become the active agents in thechange.

    Whilst Futurebuildings original

    success was grounded in personal

    development and employee

    enjoyment, partnerships to date

    have developed into leadership

    retention and development

    programmes, company profile

    enhancing events, employee driven

    community engagement school

    twinning schemes, corporate

    hospitality and relationship

    building adventures.

    Its innovative and flexible

    approach means that you can

    shape your Futurebuilding

experience around the exact needsof your organisation.

A Futurebuild can happen with as

little as 12 willing volunteers, but to

    see the full potential that

    Futurebuilding can bring to your

    organisation, please look at the

    Case Study overleaf.

Eaga Plc. is the UKs leading green

    support services company. Our

award winning five yearpartnership works to improve

schools in rural areas, which to

date has improved the lives of388 children in Tanzania.

2010 saw 60 volunteers in fourgroups travel to Tanzania over an

    eight week period.

Group 1: Emerging LeadersAs part of a Future Leaders

    professional development

    programme, Eaga sent its most

promising talent to work on Lotima

    Primary School. Their abilities were

first tested in the UK by fundraising

a total of 37,000 and then in

Tanzania over a two week period.

Various tasks were assigned to the

    Future Leaders to encourage and

    assess their leadershipdevelopment throughout this

    experiential learning experience

Group 2: Corporate RelationshipBuildingEaga invited individuals from their

    major corporate clients and

    stakeholders, to become

    FutureBuilders. Through corporate

    sponsorship they funded their

    project visit, and also

    participated in the School Twinning

    Programme.

Groups 3 & 4: EmployeeRetention and RewardDue to the unique structure of Eaga

    the Eaga Partnership Trust, which

holds on behalf of the Partners

37% of the shares in Eaga,

    responded to requests by the

    Partners to help rural developing

communities in some of the poorest

regions of the world. The aim is to

give Partners a once in a lifetime

opportunity to live and work withinthese communities and to be able

    to say they made a

difference. The EPT were able to

    support 30 Partners to participate

    in this project.

    Climate+ provides innovativecarbon reduction solutions.

    providers, 100% of proceeds

    raised through Climate+ are

    channelled back into Childreach

    International projects.

    Currently offering carbon offsets at

    instant, no-nonsense reward for

    choosing our services.

    Aside from these competitive rates

and the vast amounts of CO2saved, our unique greenhouse gas

    developing world, bringing

    numerous economic, social and

    environmental benefits. These

    projects range from the provision

of energy efficient stoves in Africa,

    the reforestation of degraded

lands in the Himalayas, to the

provision of solar power to remote

    Indian villages.

    Climate+ will work alongside you

    to develop carbon reduction

    strategiesmeasuring your

    current behaviours and emission

patterns, then helping you to help

you cut your emissions and energy

    consumption, further reducing your

    costs.

    Finally, Climate+ will go beyond

    simply mitigating your current

emissions. They will also remove a

further 10% of your total emissions,

    making your operations better than

    carbon neutral.

    As a Climate+ partner youll

    receive:

    An accurate calculation of your

    greenhouse gas emissions

A report of your emissions and

    their sources
