The Compassionate Eye Foundation is an innovative nonprofit organization founded by photographer Robert Kent and colleagues, who enlist the talents of other photographers and creative professionals to help those in need. The Climate Change Commission, which is attached to the Office of the President, is an independent and autonomous agency with the same status as that of a national government. It is the sole policy-making body of the government tasked to coordinate, monitor and evaluate the programs and action plans of the government relating to climate change.
THE CLIMATE CHANGE COMMISSION
“Ikaw, Ako, Tayo: Kabatang Handa sa Klimang Nagbabago” at Museo Pamabata
This event is a partnership between the Climate Change Commission and Museo Pambata aimed at raising climate change consciousness among students in a creative and conducive environment. Museo Pambata will be able to showcase their I ♥ My Planet Earth gallery, multipurpose hall and other facilities both to students and teachers as a potential educational venue for future events and study tours. An interactive exhibit and workshop will be conducted on the identified date which will aim to:
1. Educate students on the causes and effects of climate change.2. Enable the students to identify ways of reducing their carbon
footprint.3. Raise the consciousness of the students on the urgency of
addressing climate change.4. Inspire the students to become advocates of simple climate change
mitigation and adaptation measures.
