DescriptionA large not for profit multi-hospital health system wanted to identify ways to enhance their end user (provider) experience. They suspected issues with extended log on times for their providers, clinical end users and general users. Knowing they had good people who manage their infrastructure i.e. server, network, storage, MVD & desktop engineering e.g. They also realized their infrastructure teams operated in silos and many of the issues involved multiple infrastructure teams. The Health System required identification of bottlenecks across their infrastructure silos. The approach included bringing together key infrastructure stakeholders, technologies and interdependencies as well as implementing processes to monitor end user performance.
