प्रविक्षण की आिश्यकता है. इस सम्बन्ध िें कारैकुडी िें प्रत्यावित बोलीदाताओ ंका

एक िांि-पूिव समे्मलन आयोवित वकया िा रहा है. C.S.I.R-C.E.C.R.I is

interested in the procurement, installation and training of the following equipment. In

this connection, Pre Indent Conference with prospective bidders are being organised

in Karaikudi.

The bidder / vendor’s representative will be allowed to make a presentation at the

allotted date and time to the Committee. The presentation should not be more than 20

minutes and will be followed by a clarifying question and answer session of not more

than 10 minutes.

The entire objective of the Pre indent conference is to enable the technical committee to draw the specifications and also shortlist the vendor(s). The presentation should broadly cover the following aspects:

1. Detailed Specifications and features of the model (s) proposed by the bidder or vendor & the recent technological trends, developments in the field / area.

2. End users of the model (s), with their contact phone numbers, email ids,

copies of the purchase orders & performance certificates.

3. If the users are in India, especially R & D institutions like other CSIR labs,

Indian Institute of Science, IITs, Central universities, DRDO, ICMR, ICAR etc.

then the copies of the purchase orders & performance certificates.

4. Application notes, copies of papers & citations in technical journals for the model.

5. Escalation chart of the bidder / vendor.

6. Year of introduction of the model and spares availability policy of the OEM after phase out of the model or model reaching end of life.

7. Information regarding approximate market share for the product / equipment

worldwide and in India.

8. Warranty period, extension of warranty period to compensate the loss of time & days during downtime of the equipment.

9. Service capability of the bidder / vendor with special attention to the number

of service engineers who cover areas like Karaikudi. 10. Response time for a service call. 11. Availability of Spares in India.

The vendor’s representative should be a product specialist or very competent

technical person who can answer all the technical queries of the committee. The

representative should have soft copies & hard copies of the above documents /

information and also the relevant brochures / pamphlets. Requests for more time to

provide the information will not be considered. On the basis of the above conference/meeting, the technical committee shall finalize

specifications after knowing/obtaining details about relevant/available technology in the

market suiting the requirement and R&D needs of CSIR - CECRI. The committee shall

also evaluate the credentials / technical capabilities / financial standings and track record

of the companies / vendors attending the PIC and shortlist the firms for RFQ process.

After finalising the specifications limited tenders will be invited only from the qualified

bidders, who made technical presentation on the stipulated date and time. It is mandatory for the bidders / vendors to participate in the Pre indent conference to further participate in the process. The decision taken by the committee and Director, CSIR – CECRI will be final and binding on all the prospective bidders. The vendors who wish to participate in the Pre Indent Conference should express their willingness by email to spo@cecri.res.in on or before 22.06.2016.
