we work, and it’s one that has a profound impact on the

places and spaces where we work. We believe that the

workplace is more important than ever before, and that it

can be a key strategic business tool, but only if it’s designed

to support the ways people and organizations work today.

Sometimes it’s the little things that make the biggest difference. c:scape

provides a space that gives users more tools and ‘little luxuries’ in the

places they naturally interact with.

1 desk connect zone. Workers are bringing small, mobile devices to work.

The connect zone in the desk opens for easy, instant access to power and

data, manages cables, all while keeping precious worksurface space open.

2 worktools. Each user works differently and likes to arrange their desk

according to their individual preference. A variety of work tools support

the different ways an individual wants to work.

3 thin worksurfaces. A great small space demands attention to design

details. A thin worksurface is one way to create a light-scale aesthetic.

4 flexible power receptacle. The fl exible receptacle makes it easy to plug in.

5 storage connect zone. The connect zone in low storage provides easy

access to power and offers security for devices.

felt drawer liner. Users bring personal electronic devices to work.

The felt drawer liner in storage protects mobile devices.

6 leg design. The open leg design, allowing for knee swing, welcomes

side-by-side collaboration.

GREAT SMALL SPACES

12

7 in-line slider. A great small space makes use of every square foot.

Storage in-line slider door remains flush when open, leaving every square

foot of space for the user.

8 low storage cushion. The cushion provides a place for

impromptu collaboration.

Work spaces designed for an interconnected workplace offer the

right blend of spaces and solutions to support the ways people work.

It has to include the right amount of space for individual “I” work, as

well as group “We” work. And there needs to be a combination of

spaces that are shared or owned. The workplace should offer

fl exibility and accommodate change.
