Gearmotors

Allied Motion’s RAA 30 series PMDC gearmotors are specifically designed for the requirements of battery powered medical mobility lifting and moving applications, such as wheelchair and scooter lifts and wheelchair seat actuators. These economical 3-inch diameter gearmotors are wound for 12 VDC with a continuous shaft power output rating up to 1/30 HP.

In addition to medical mobility applications, the RAA 30 series is an ideal choice in a variety of other motion applications, including floor maintenance brush drives, welding wire feeders, residential or recreational awnings, and gate and door actuation.

Allied Motion’s RAB series of right-angle DC gear motors are designed for battery-powered lifting and moving applications such as medical wheelchair and scooter lifts and swivel actuators. These cost effective 3-inch diameter gear motors are available wound for 12 up to 115 VDC with the ability to output up to 77 lb-in (8.7 Nm) continuous shaft torque. This motor is our most powerful and longest life in the RA series.

In addition to lifting applications, the RAB 30 right-angle series is an ideal choice for floor care brush drives, awning extension and retraction drives, welding wire feeders, cable pullers, and similar applications.

Gearmotors

Allied Motion’s RAD series of right-angle PMDC gearmotors (Universal Power Drives) are specifically designed for power wheelchairs.

These are powerful, long-life gearmotors that offer the quiet operation so essential in power wheelchair applications. The RAD series are available wound for 12, 24 or 48 VDC, and are capable of continuous output power of up to 3/8 HP. Versions are available with either a 2-pole or a 4-pole PMDC motor.

In addition to power wheelchairs, the RAD series is an ideal choice for AGV’s, material handling vehicles, and for recreational, scooter and other personal mobility vehicles.

Allied Motion’s Endurance PJ series of 3-inch (76mm) diameter PMDC motors are a cost-effective solution for a wide range of commercial applications like mobile HVAC systems, pumps, and electric actuators.

With rated winding voltages from 12 up to 48 VDC, and continuous power output up to 1/3 HP, the Endurance PJ models are especially suitable for battery-powered applications. They offer excellent performance, long service life, and high reliability. Custom design variations are available to exactly match customer needs.
