Introduction:The CS-47 Link is a GSM unit that connected to the PW-4/8/16 buss and can function as second dialer or back-up dialer.

It reports to the central station by CID format about any event of the C.P. Additionally it can report to any other cellular phone by SMS the exact event.

Features:• Full report for all the events of the C.P.

• Reporting format in CID and SMS. • Reporting to up to 10 subscriber phones in each format. • Communication via GSM Dual Band 900/1800 MHz based on Sony Ericson GR47

Modem. • Rechargeable Lead Acid 12V/1.3Ah back-up battery. • Protected by Tamper. • Programming the unit by a PC via Com Port (RS-232) or via air. • Remote control via phone.

Installation Instructions:

It’s recommended that you will program the CS-47 on workbench before the installation for the programming it’s need to connect to PC or Laptop via COM Port (the cable is supplied in the Kit). 1. First choose the location for installation, it’s recommended to locate the unit in

distance of 1 meter up to 20 meter from the C.P. 2. Drill 4 holes (assist with the Drill Plate sheet) in the wall and assemble the

unit. 3. Connect the Antenna (supplied in the Kit). 4. Connect the PW buss (POS, NEG, CLK, DAT) it’s recommended to power down the

C.P voltage before connection. 5. Insert the SIM Card into the SIM housing. 6. Power on the C.P, the red Led will turn on and after few seconds the green Led

will flash. 7. Initiate any event on the C.P and make sure that the unit will report this in the

format you reprogrammed.

Programming:

1. Type double clicks on Configurator Icon.

2. Choose the language. 3. For programming the modem via PC choose “ Local Control via COM” 4. For programming other modem by remote choose “Control modem via Data Link”

6. Type “Next>”.

7. Type “Synchronize“ for synchronizing the Real Time Clock time according the

PC time. 8. Type “Next>”.

9. Choose the format for the reporting and move them by the left arrow.

UNote: U Only modes “Contact ID” and “SMS” are active you can choose each one of them or both.

10. Select the C.P type you are working with: PW-4/8 PW-16 PW-64

14. Mark the field" If Line in trouble" if you want the CS-47 Link will report only if the line is failed.

The configuration can be saved at the PC and load configurations. Remarks: To remove events from side to side by the arrow or double click on the event. 16. Type “O.K.”.

17. Type "Next".

Notes: The phone number must contain the country prefix.

20. Select the event list you want to use and define the reporting case ( If line

in trouble ) 21. Type “Alive Test” if you want the unit will call every day on the same hour

or every few hours to insure that the unit is alive.

number.

The factory Default is “4444”.

25. Type “Next>”.

26. Type “Restart”. The Configurator application will close and the modem will report accordingly to your programming about “Reset” and other events on the C.P if there is any.

Programming the C. P for remote control by the modem:U To use the function remote control by modem its need to learn the modem as a pendent. Procedure Description:

1. Connect the CS-47 Link to the PW (for example PW-8). 2. Get in to installer mode and type P611. 3. Call to the CS-47 Link after the first ring the unit will answer and 3 tones will

be heard (on the phone). 4. Type on phone “password and #” (the factory default is” 4444”). 5. Type “Enter” on the Keypad of the C.P, the C.P will wait for transmitting of the

Remote control. 6. Type on the phone “1#” 3 tones indicates success will heard on phone –Pendent

1 was learned. 7. For Pendent 2 type on the Keypad “P612 E” and then type “2#” on the Phone, 3

tones indicate success will heard on phone –Pendent 2 was learned. 8. To learn more pendent continue with this procedure. 9. While you finished to learn the pendent, hang up the phone and program the C.P

to set the pendent to function as you wish.

Remote Control by the modem:U Call to the CS-47 Link after the first ring the unit will answer and 3 tones will be heard (on the phone). Type “1” on phone to activate pendent 1 and “2” to activate pendent 2 and so on.

ANTY POLICY CERTIFICATEWARRU This Warranty Certificate is given in favor of the purchaser (hereunder the "Purchaser") purchasing the products directly from Crow or from its authorized distributor. Crow warrants these products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 24 months from the last day of the week and year whose numbers are printed on the printed circuit board inside these products (hereunder the "Warranty Period"). Subject to the provisions of this Warranty Certificate, during the Warranty Period, Crow undertakes, at its sole discretion and subject to Crow's procedures, as such procedures are form time to time, to repair or replace, free of charge for materials and/or labor, products proved to be defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and service. Repaired products shall be warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. All transportation costs and in-transit risk of loss or damage related, directly or indirectly, to products returned to Crow for repair or replacement shall be borne solely by the Purchaser. Crow's warranty under this Warranty Certificate does not cover products that is defective (or shall become defective) due to: (a) alteration of the products (or any part thereof) by anyone other than Crow; (b) accident, abuse, negligence, or improper maintenance; (c) failure caused by a product which Crow did not provide; (d) failure caused by software or hardware which Crow did not provide; (e) use or storage other than in accordance with Crow’s specified operating and storage instructions. There are no warranties, expressed or implied, of merchantability or fitness of the products for a particular purpose or otherwise, which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. This limited Warranty Certificate is the Purchaser's sole and exclusive remedy against Crow and Crow's sole and exclusive liability toward the Purchaser in connection with the products, including without limitation - for defects or malfunctions of the products. This Warranty Certificate replaces all other warranties and liabilities, whether oral, written, (non-mandatory) statutory, contractual, in tort or otherwise. In no case shall Crow be liable to anyone for any consequential or incidental damages (inclusive of loss of profit, and whether occasioned by negligence of the Crow or any third party on its behalf) for breach of this or any other warranty, expressed or implied, or upon any other basis of liability whatsoever. Crow does not represent that these products can not be compromised or circumvented; that these products will prevent any person injury or property loss or damage by burglary, robbery, fire or otherwise; or that these products will in all cases provide adequate warning or protection. Purchaser understands that a properly installed and maintained product may in some cases reduce the risk of burglary, fire, robbery or other events occurring without providing an alarm, but it is not insurance or a guarantee that such will not occur or that there will be no personal injury or property loss or damage as a result. Consequently, Crow shall have no liability for any personal injury; property damage or any other loss based on claim that these products failed to give any warning. If Crow is held liable, whether directly or indirectly, for any loss or damage with regards to these products, regardless of cause or origin, Crow’s maximum liability shall not in any case exceed the purchase price of these products, which shall be the complete and exclusive remedy against Crow.
