WalkGreen Chain Walk The Green Chain Walk can be joined from Crystal Palace to Nunhead Cemetery. The walk takes you through one of South London’s fantastic wildlife sites, Sydenham Hill Wood and is approximately 5.4 miles long.

The No. 3 Bus will take you into the centre of London via Lambeth and Houses of Parliament before terminating at Whitehall/Horse Guards Avenue.
The Street Food Market on Saturdays in Haynes Lane sells local produce, local beer, fresh baked bread and cakes.
Try the Parkrun at 9am on Saturday in the adjacent park.

Visitor’s top tips
The park makes a lovely couple of hours away from the hustle and bustle and the dinosaurs (being restored to full glory) are a must.
The site is excellent for getting into London. Public transport with an Oyster Card or Travel Card is great and cheap. You can get the DLR to Greenwich quite easily.
The RAF museum at Hendon is a must if you like military aviation, it is best to use the Northern tube line.
